The Great Escape

Don't you feel like sometimes you just want to go out of town, away from all the tiring works, and sit there relaxing and enjoying the sunsets? The Coco Palm Bodu Hithi Hotel in the Maldives has about 100 villas to choose from, each decorated perfectly for you to enjoy the beautiful watery view there. When I look these photos it calms me down a bit and make me forget about the exhaustion from these days, so I'm definitely going to share it with you guys! Have a great weekend! xxx

How beautiful is this?? Have you ever gone to places like this?

Korean House with Italian Twist

I'm sure almost everybody nowadays are very similar with Korean talents like Rain, 2NE1, 2PM, and so on. But do you ever watch Korean dramas? They all have their unique Korean style interior with contemporary twist, and sometimes they bring that modern and futuristic touch too. Today I found this cool Korean house with cool Italian style interior. Hallyu (Korean Wave) strikes again!

"Korea House is designed with contemporary interiors Italy. The purpose of the architect is for this house to maintain and create the environment. Indeed, this house offers a traditional home from Korea, but little else was renovated with a touch."

"On the outside of the house, there are woodcarvings on the doors and roof of the pagoda. Korea House is combined with contemporary Italian interior presents. Design inspired by Italian style with a variety of solutions that exist in it. On the inside, the living room has a slightly different design but still fun. The colors on the furniture are more dominant green color. This will bring the atmosphere feels more fresh and natural, both indoors and in gardens that have a green bamboo."

Vittra School in Sweden Interior

"In connection with the establishment of a new Vittra school in Stockholm, Telefonplan, Rosan Bosch Ltd. has created the school’s interior with spatial divisions and significant custom design. The interior takes it point of departure in Vittra’s pedagogical principles and serves as a pedagogical tool for development in the everyday of the school. Instead of classical divisions with chairs and tables, a giant iceberg for example serves as cinema, platform and room for relaxation, and sets the frame for many different types of learning." as cited here.

Vittra International Schools in Sweden probably have the best interior design among any other school exists. The interior was by Rosan Bosch Ltd. . It looks so bright, vibrant and comfortable for learning activities. I remember when I was still in elementary school and how it feels being so lazy to wake up on school days. If just mine were as cool as this, school life wouldn't be the same. (Maybe? haha)

"The Mountain" (front) as the central point of the school

At the top of "The mountain" is a platform and lookout post

Inside the mountain is "The Cave" which is more likely a mini theater where students could watch films

"The Chalk House" on the left serves as Multimedia House. On the right is reading niche for "Individual Contemplation"

"The Dance Hall". Free to move!

"Organic Conversation Furniture" where students can work alone or together with their friends. They have the program: one laptop per student.

Organic table with room for cooperation in small groups

"Organic Sitting Island" designed for students to lounge and working with laptops

"The Lunch Club"

"The Tree" creates a 'natural meeting space'. It also serves as a point of reference in the school

"The Village" where students meet to do their group projects

"Window Pods" with space for individual work, while getting some natural lights and being within reach of a classmate for help

This school's interior is so cool that I want to be a kid again and study here, haha! For more information about the school, go to Vittra School's Website.

Hotel: Maison 140 Beverly Hills

Maison 140 Beverly Hills, recently featured on Lonny Magazine's March/April Issue is a boutique hotel which located on 1140 Lasky Drive Beverly Hills, California 90212. The interior, decorated by designer Kelly Wearstler is so elegant, and at the same time it looks so romantic, chic and comfortable. If I ever have the chance to stay here, I probably couldn't say no.

Artist: Danny Roberts

I like artworks. For me, they could make the room more artsy and colorful. One of my favorite artist is Danny Roberts. He has created a lot of beautiful artworks which I adore. His works are mostly fashion related and all of them are amazing! The first time I saw his artwork featured on Teen Vogue, I fell in love on the first sight. Haha!

He also has his etsy store on Danny Roberts Art Store where you can buy his art prints. He also blogs over Igor + Andre together with his brother David Roberts, which started in 2008 "as a way of sharing Danny's art. At the time, Danny was a student at the Academy of Art studying fashion design.."

Here are some of my favorites:
